The Phenotypes Traversing All the Organisms Workshop (POTATO) series brings together phenotype ontology curators and developers to reconcile phenotype ontologies across organisms. This second edition of the workshop will feature a focused discussion about the Phenotype and Trait Ontology (PATO), organising and documenting its issues and limitations and designing a strategy to resolve them. We will furthermore provide training for defining new PATO terms, defining new species independent anatomy terms in UBERON and discussing some fundamental distinctions of phenotypes of abnormal processes and their (abnormal) outcomes.
